The Litha Season
Litha or Midsummer, the Sabbat which celebrates the beginning of Summer, is celebrated on the 21st of June. The season of Litha lasts from this day until the harvest festival of Lammas/Lughnasadh on August 1.
Celebrate this season by reveling in the abundance of fresh fruits and veggies that the Earth has provided, and by decorating yourself and your surroundings with solar colors: gold, yellow, and orange. This is a great way to attune yourself to the energies of Litha.
Divination
Litha is one of three Sabbats that are the best days for divination. The sun is at its peak in the sky and solar energies are at their strongest. Take advantage of these energies by doing some fire scrying: relax and gaze into the flame of a candle or bonfire (NOT the sun!) to divine the future. Litha is also especially good for doing divinations and magicks for love.
